Where are we located?

The exact location of your prom venue is highly important in ensuring all your students are able to commute to and from on the night with ease. The John Smith’s Stadium is located on Stadium Way, Huddersfield, HD1 6PG – close to both the M62 and M1 motorways, and benefits from a number of parking spots in the spacious car park, ideal for the prom cars arriving and leaving at key points throughout the night.

At The John Smith’s Stadium, we have three excellent rooms on offer to assist you in holding a thoroughly enjoyable prom night:

The Fantastic Suite

With a maximum capacity of 120 guests, the Fantastic Suite is great for large events such as a school prom. The suite’s dinner dance or theatre style set up is accompanied by pitch-side views and the option to display your own personal message on the scoreboard, as well as being directly connected to a dedicated kitchen. If you’re wanting to give your students a prom to remember, the Fantastic Suite is the perfect choice!
The Revell Ward Suite

The Revell Ward Suite has a capacity of up to 440 guests, making it our largest function room. The suite can be adapted into a seated dinner or theatre style setting and has features such as air conditioning and natural daylight, making it an excellent choice for a larger school’s prom. The room can also be split into two sections or a stage can be set up at your request.

The John Smith’s Suite

The John Smith’s Suite is a flexible event room that can hold up to 150 guests. You have the option of dividing the room into 3 different spaces, making it suitable for various events such as a prom. Some features this suite boasts are a fixed dance floor, a dedicated, well-stocked bar, Wi-Fi, a projector and an in-house PA system, meaning it is fully equipped to meet you and your school’s needs.
