KSDL recently attended The Howarth Foundation Music Extravaganza on Saturday 24th November 2018.
The Howarth Foundation’s ‘Business Building Futures’ programme works with a network of regional homeless charities to identify individuals ready to re-enter full or part-time employment across Leeds and Kirklees, providing them with skills training or employment through local businesses signed up to the scheme.
The night was filled with joy and laughter and The Howarth Foundation pulled off an amazing night!
The night started with speeches from Directors of Howaths, Gavin Howarth and Tracey Hopkins, as well as an insight story from Scott, who has recently got back into employment following on from being homeless, as well as speeches from Club Ambassadors Olympians Lois and Jack.
We also saw acts from the talented Darren Mac Magic, Rastrick High School Choir, 2 bands and singing waiters!
The charity raised over £8000! What a great success it was!
